What We See, What We Make

JEJEUNOSITY has always been about more than clothes.

Every collection begins long before we start drawing a pattern or choosing a fabric. It often starts with something small — an old photograph, an unusual color combination, a piece of vintage clothing, a street we passed while traveling, a children’s book, a strange object, or simply a detail that stays in our mind for no obvious reason.

This journal is a place to collect those things.

We wanted to create a space where we could share not only the finished clothes, but also everything that happens before them.

The references we keep.

The fabrics we discover.

The places we visit.

The things we make by hand.

The ideas that work, the ideas that change along the way, and even the ideas that never become a finished product.

For us, design has never been about following a perfect formula.

We are often more interested in combinations that feel slightly unexpected — a color that seems a little off at first, an oversized shape, an old-fashioned textile, playful embroidery, patchwork, or a detail that makes you look twice.

Sometimes the most interesting ideas come from things that were never meant to belong together.

That curiosity is an important part of JEJEUNOSITY.

Clothes Are Only the Beginning

Of course, we make clothes.

But clothes are connected to so many other things.

They are connected to memory, places, people, textures, music, objects, and the way we live.

A vintage quilt can become the starting point for a jacket.

A faded sign on an old building can inspire a color palette.

A child’s awkward way of layering clothes can suddenly feel more interesting than a perfectly styled outfit.

An old family photograph can remind us of a silhouette we had forgotten.

These small discoveries eventually find their way into our collections, sometimes directly and sometimes without us even realizing it.

This journal is where we want to trace those connections.

Behind JEJEUNOSITY

There is a lot that happens behind a clothing brand that rarely appears in a finished campaign image.

Searching for fabrics.

Changing a sample by a few centimeters.

Choosing between two nearly identical shades.

Adding a small embroidery detail.

Removing another one.

Looking at the same garment again and wondering if something still feels too ordinary.

There is repetition, uncertainty, mistakes, and a lot of small decisions.

We actually like that part.

JEJEUNOSITY has never been about making everything look perfectly polished.

We like pieces that have personality.

Things that feel a little strange, a little nostalgic, slightly imperfect, and very much alive.

What You’ll Find Here

Through this journal, we’ll share the world around JEJEUNOSITY — not only our collections, but also the things that influence them.

You may find stories about vintage clothing, textiles, patchwork, children’s style, travel, interesting shops, design references, photography, handmade details, creative processes, and the everyday discoveries that eventually become part of our work.

Some posts will be practical.

Some will simply be things we love.

And some may just be notes we want to remember.

There is no strict boundary between inspiration and work for us.

One usually becomes the other.

A Place to Keep Looking

We believe that having a point of view begins with paying attention.

Not necessarily to the biggest or most beautiful things, but often to the small ones that are easy to miss.

A funny proportion.

An old piece of fabric.

A child’s unexpected choice.

A color combination that shouldn’t work but somehow does.

Those are often the things we remember.

And those are the things we want to keep collecting here.

Welcome to the JEJEUNOSITY Journal.

This is where we share what we see, what we keep, and eventually, what we make.
